Psychotherapies used in my practice include emotion-focused therapies and mindfulness-based therapies like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); compassion-focused therapy, grief counseling, and polyvagal approaches. My past work as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner gives me insight into the interconnectedness of physical and mental health including women's mood disorders across the lifespan (perinatal, postpartum, motherhood, perimenopause). I am intensive trained in DBT.
When indicated I can offer new and continuing prescriptions based on an assessment of your needs and response to current treatments.
